Fran Drescher is a Nasal-voiced comic actress who brings out laughter into everyone's mind, she has bargain-basement wardrobe, she was both star and co-creator along with her then husband Peter Marc Jacobson in running the Sony Picture's TV Series "The Nanny". The Nanny Characters are well versed and used for making the plot humorous, exciting and entertaining. Fran makes her debut on November 3, 1993 with her character role as Fran Fine. Fran Fine is a middle class girl who is a Jewish from Queens. She has been hired by the British born Maxwell Sheffield, played by Charles Shaughnessy.

Maxwell is also a theatrical agent. He has hired Fran Fine since he wants her to be the nanny for his three children: shy Maggie, played by Nicholle Tom, wheeler-dealer Brighton, played by Benjamin Salisbury, and button-cute Grace, played by Madeline Zima, since their mother has passed away and Maxwell wants her to be the nanny for his motherless children. Comfortably installed in Maxwell's posh Manhattan town house, the healthily vulgar and outspoken Fran immediately ran afoul of snooty butler, Niles, played by Daniel Davis, who is despite of his forbidding demeanor was a softie at heart and who infinitely preferred Fran's company to that of Maxwell's overbearing business partner Chastity Claire "C.C." Babcock. In the cast were Renee Taylor possess the Character as Fran's mother, Sylvia Fine, who considered the day wasted that she didn't harass her daughter over her unmarried status; Ann Morgan Guilbertas Fran plays the role of earthy grandmother Yetta; and Rachel Chagall plays the role of our heroine's best friend who is named Val Toriallo.

Following the six successful seasons, The Nanny was made to end its journey on June 23, 1999. After five years, on December 6, 2004; all the Characters present in The Nanny were asked for a The Nanny Reunion which was a special broadcasting that consisted largely of bloopers from the series which were made by them some years ago. Lets hope that The Nanny comes back with a bang with the same set of characters with different set of cast or if possible the same cast to make us entertain again with their humorous dialogues and the type of delivery they give to make us forget all our stress and be happy for that second.
